We are not sleeping enough!

Getting a child through surrogacy and therefore feeding with formula means we need to set our alarm clock every 3 hours to feed the babies. Breastfeeding is much more simple because you don’t have to get up, just roll over to offer the breast and also it is cheaper because you don’t have to buy formula.

These are the alarms for a typical night:

Even though I sleep less I feel more relaxed because I concentrate on one thing. Still I need to improve on total sleep time (should be 7-8h) and REM sleep.

Many parents have problems with memory because the baby sleeps with them. REM sleep is key to mental recovery. It’s linked to learning, memory, and overall emotional and mental health.
